Thaida chepu

Thaida chepu est une espèce d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Austrochilidae^[1].

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du Chili^[1]. Elle se rencontre dans les régions des Lacs, des Fleuves et d'Aysén^[2].

La femelle holotype mesure 9,40 mm^[2].

Le mâle décrit par Michalik et Ramirez en 2013 mesure 5,59 mm^[3].

Cette espèce a été décrite par Forster, Platnick et Gray en 1987.

Son nom d'espèce lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, Chepu.
