Sclerophrys langanoensis est une espèce d'amphibiens de la famille des Bufonidae^[1].

Répartition

Cette espèce est endémique de la vallée du Grand Rift dans le Nord de l'Éthiopie^[1]. Elle se rencontre entre 700 et 1 600 m d'altitude dans le lac Langano et dans le parc national d'Awash.

Sa présence est incertaine en Érythrée et en Somalie.

Description

Le mâle holotype mesure 54,6 mm^[2].

Étymologie

Son nom d'espèce, composé de langano et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, le lac Langano.
